Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Violence Tyler (ranked 8133 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wooden Pencil (ranked 2717 p4p, 0 weight class). Pencil is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Full Retard. Violence Tyler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler throws a hook but Pencil avoids it easily.
Pencil attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Pencil throws a good cross that connects.
Pencil's corner calls for a 1-2. Pencil obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Pencil slips under a jab from Tyler.
Pencil is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Wooden Pencil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good work by Pencil as he checks the leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pencil connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tyler momentarily.
Tyler shoots for a takedown but Pencil saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Pencil fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tyler.
The fighters circling - Tyler throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Tyler needs to keep his hands up - Pencil had a free shot at his head there.

Pencil feints and then cracks Tyler's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tyler down.
The crowd cheers as Pencil lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tyler doesn't seem phased though.

Pencil throws a front kick aimed at Tyler's knee but Tyler avoids it well.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Tyler was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pencil works the jab nicely.

Pencil turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

That kick from Pencil tenderised Tyler's leg. Tyler is trying to keep his angry face on.
Pencil has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Tyler might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Tyler shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pencil napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Tyler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pencil keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tyler goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Pencil rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Tyler's guard! Nice work there by Pencil!

Tyler is trying to hold Pencil in close to prevent damage but Pencil has managed to pass into half guard.

Pencil decides to stand up.
Tyler blocks a jab.
Tyler half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Pencil scoring well with a low kick there.
Pencil will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Pencil lands with an uppercut that bounces Tyler off the cage and back into range.
Tyler stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pencil.
Tyler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pencil.

Wooden Pencil showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Some bone on bone action there as Tyler checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Pencil connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tyler's hands.
Pencil with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tyler shoots for a double leg takedown but Pencil sprawls well. He's pushed Tyler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pencil changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Tyler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tyler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Pencil pushes Tyler away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tyler gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Tyler wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pencil, who protects the arm well.

Tyler is trying to get an arm triangle but Pencil is defending well.
Wooden Pencil is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Tyler goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pencil has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tyler but great work by Pencil.
Tyler's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tyler tries to bench press Pencil off him but Pencil keeps the position.
Pencil really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pencil is defending against the submission attempts here by Tyler.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tyler not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Wooden Pencil comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pencil has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
