Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vance Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lawson Ready!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Wallace as Ready shoots in.
Wallace seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Wallace tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ready sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wallace somewhat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ready.
It looked like Wallace wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Ready has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ready taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Ready tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

As Ready tries to get set, Wallace tries to push him back and clinch up but Ready manages to avoid the attempt.
Ready fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wallace throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
As Wallace backs off Ready throws a huge counter combo but Wallace manages to avoid it all.
Nice uppercut lands for Ready. That snapped Wallace's head back.
Ready dives in and grabs Wallace's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wallace pushes down on Ready's head and hops out.

Wallace fails to land with a series of punches.
Wallace shoots in but no luck this time.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ready.
Ready keeps the fight on the outside.
Ready shoots for a double leg takedown but Wallace sprawls well. He's pushed Ready's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Wallace got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ready has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wallace has managed to get both his arms back between Ready's legs - danger averted.

Wallace is trying to trip Ready. He has hold of a leg but Ready is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wallace persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Ready manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Ready just leaning against Wallace, taking a breather.
Wallace tries to score a body lock takedown but Ready shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Wallace changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ready fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ready lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wallace has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wallace and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ready shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wallace pinned against the cage. Wallace gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lawson Ready showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
