Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Unai Vencedor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Manny Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vencedor.
Johnson now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Johnson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vencedor throws out the jab.
Vencedor throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it.
Johnson looks to land a left hand but Vencedor moved out of range nicely.
Johnson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Vencedor in his tracks.
Johnson throws a jab but it's blocked by Vencedor.
Vencedor avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Johnson throws a hook to the side of Vencedor's head but Vencedor sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Vencedor tries to move into range but Johnson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooooh!!! Vencedor has knocked Johnson down with a huge combo! Vencedor steps away and waves a wobbly Johnson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Johnson is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vencedor ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Johnson's jaw. Johnson's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Vencedor does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
