The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dark scores with a three punch combo!

Shoemaker looks to land a left hand but Dark moved out of range nicely.

Dark misses with a takedown attempt - Shoemaker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Shoemaker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shoemaker has hold of one of Dark's legs. Dark is fighting the takedown attempt but Shoemaker gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Shoemaker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dark on the ground.
Dark will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Dark is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Shoemaker tries to free his leg and advance position but Dark is retaining full guard.

Shoemaker loads up on a big left hand. Dark felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Shoemaker looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Dark can't hide his disappointment, as Shoemaker celebrates the victory.

An out of breath Jordon Shoemaker thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
