Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Jacob (ranked 2812 p4p, 391 weight class) and Slapped Silly (ranked 3244 p4p, 440 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Jacob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Slapped Silly!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacob shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Silly eats them both and turns towards Jacob to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Slapped Silly has been cut.
Silly takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jacob clobbers Silly with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Silly has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jacob displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silly throws out the jab.
Silly throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jacob counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Jacob lands a big right hand that sends Silly crashing to the mat! Jacob stays standing though and waves Silly back to his feet!

Silly is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Some wild striking there from Silly.
Silly is still on wobbly legs! Can Jacob finish him?
Jacob lands with a shot to the body.
Silly seems to have recovered his senses.
Jacob tries to bum rush Silly with a series of wild strikes but Silly uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Jacob cracks Silly with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jacob has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Silly to stand back up!
Jacob throws a body shot but no joy.
Silly swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Silly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jacob cracks a nice hook into Silly's ribs.

Jacob cracks Silly with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jacob has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Silly to stand back up!
Silly misses with a left hand
and Silly takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Silly takes a shot right to the bread basket.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jacob pounces like a tiger and cracks Silly with a vicious hook! Silly is down but not out! Jacob follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
