Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Silva (ranked 3445 p4p, 361 weight class) and Cain Alvarado (ranked 3963 p4p, 402 weight class). Ronaldo Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarado jabs Silva right on the nose. Silva blinks but takes it well.
Silva dodges the punch combination from Alvarado.
Alvarado throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Silva tries for a takedown but Alvarado sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Silva manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Alvarado on his heels. He'll look to pass Alvarado's guard now, I'm sure.
Alvarado is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.

Alvarado really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
