The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Warner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Riggs looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Riggs throws an overhand right that lands on Warner's shoulder, as Warner tries to avoid the shot.
Warner is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Riggs fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Warner manages to avoid it.
Warner gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Riggs counters with a three punch combo that has Warner backing up. Warner nods at Riggs to acknowledge the strikes.
Sloppy strikes from Riggs. Those never looked like landing.

Riggs drives through with a takedown into guard.

Warner wants to improve his position but instead Riggs has moved into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
