Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marek Koltun (ranked 1585 p4p, 198 weight class) and Yoki Mayoniko (ranked 1346 p4p, 174 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 23 - 4, fighting out of Helsinki, Marek Koltun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Yoki Mayoniko!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koltun got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mayoniko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Koltun has managed to get both his arms back between Mayoniko's legs - danger averted.

Koltun looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mayoniko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Koltun wants to take a breather but Mayoniko is having none of it.

Koltun tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mayoniko defends well and Koltun ends up having to push Mayoniko into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Mayoniko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mayoniko wants it to stay on the feet.
Koltun takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Yoki Mayoniko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Mayoniko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A relieved looking Yoki Mayoniko thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Marek Koltun was interviewed post fight and said 'My opponent was the better man tonight, but I will be back.'.
