Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Koreshkov!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lundgren closes this distance looking for a takedown but Koreshkov circles away.

Lundgren got a little sloppy there for a moment and Koreshkov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lundgren has managed to get both his arms back between Koreshkov's legs - danger averted.

Koreshkov looking for a guillotine here but Lundgren defends easily.
Lundgren working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Koreshkov trying to keep a closed guard but Lundgren is proving a slippery customer.

Lundgren knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Koreshkov on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Koreshkov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Koreshkov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lundgren manages to get himself to full guard.

Lundgren has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Koreshkov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lundgren working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Koreshkov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Koreshkov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lundgren can't keep his opponent in guard - Koreshkov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lundgren is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Koreshkov seems to be working for a kimura but Lundgren defends the submission attempt.
Lundgren wants to get back to full guard.
Koreshkov is thwarting Lundgren's attempts to control the position.
Koreshkov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Koreshkov drops an elbow to the side of Lundgren's head.
Koreshkov blocks the strikes from Lundgren.
Koreshkov prevents Lundgren from improving his position.
Koreshkov scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Koreshkov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lundgren with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Koreshkov stops Lundgren from getting back to his feet.
Oh Lundgren is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Koreshkov looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The fighters are battling for position here. Lundgren manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Lundgren seems to have got his legs back now.

Koreshkov wants to control from the top but Lundgren keeps moving.

Lundgren is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Koreshkov is aware though and is defending well.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Koreshkov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Koreshkov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Koreshkov lands a couple of elbows.
Koreshkov advances position into side control!
Lundgren is looking to reverse the position.
You can see the frustration on Lundgren's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lundgren is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Lundgren is not content to let Koreshkov control the position.
Lundgren is working to avoid the ground and pound but Koreshkov connects with a decent elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexander Koreshkov dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lundgren shoots in for a takedown but Koreshkov shows good takedown defense.

Koreshkov lands a big uppercut and Lundgren crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lundgren looks OK. Koreshkov waves Lundgren back to his feet!

Lundgren misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Koreshkov plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Lundgren swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Lundgren face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
