PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bastyn Dall (ranked 352 p4p, 39 weight class) and Quentin DeBramalo (ranked 157 p4p, 18 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dall might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Beast. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dall looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Dall with a body punch. A glancing blow.
DeBramalo jabs at Dall's body.
That kick from Dall tenderised DeBramalo's leg. DeBramalo is trying to keep his angry face on.
Dall throws the left hand but DeBramalo avoids the punch easily.
DeBramalo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dall has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
DeBramalo scores with a body shot.
Dall takes a swing at DeBramalo's ribcage but misses.
A head kick by Dall misses
and DeBramalo counters with a good low kick that Dall was not able to check.
DeBramalo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dall.
DeBramalo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dall finds it's way round the side to connect with DeBramalo's head.
Dall shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says DeBramalo as he avoids it easily.
DeBramalo doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Dall manages to get an easy takedown there - catching DeBramalo on his heels. He'll look to pass DeBramalo's guard now, I'm sure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dall drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and DeBramalo dives on top into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
You can see the frustration on Dall's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
DeBramalo has control of an arm but Dall manages to advance to DeBramalo's back!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Dall looking to break DeBramalo's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. DeBramalo remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Dall will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

That was a close round but I would say that Bastyn Dall will probably get the nod.

Dall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has DeBramalo pinned against the cage. DeBramalo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

DeBramalo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dall connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! DeBramalo scrambles back to his feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! DeBramalo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dall - the referee stops the clock and DeBramalo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dall. DeBramalo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
