The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hadley wants to clinch up but Khavari keeps it at a distance.
Hadley leaves Khavari with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hadley throws a big counter combination but Khavari scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Hadley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Khavari looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A cross from Khavari lands.
Hadley drops his hands momentarily and Khavari takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Khavari displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hadley throws out the jab.
Khavari has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hadley needs to keep his hands up - Khavari had a free shot at his head there.
Hadley is rocked!
Hadley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khavari fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Hadley to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Hadley looks to clinch but Khavari throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Hadley taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
