Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dik Warts (ranked 6613 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cleon Salmon (ranked 25284 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warts fails with the takedown.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Warts is defended easily by Salmon.
Salmon goes for a double leg but Warts avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Warts continues to drive forward.
Warts throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Warts is looking to clinch but Salmon is avoiding it.
Salmon is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Salmon shoots in for a takedown but Warts shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Salmon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Warts seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Salmon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Cleon Salmon has got the better of the ground game so far.
Warts is stalling here. Salmon is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Warts seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Salmon has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Salmon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Warts tries to hold on but Salmon pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Warts wants to control but Salmon is having none of it.

Salmon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Warts bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Let's hope that Salmon has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looked like Warts wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Salmon cracks Warts with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Warts falls to his knees and Salmon doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
