Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawid Kasperski (ranked 3537 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Lukyanov (ranked 2680 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dawid Kasperski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Boris Lukyanov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lukyanov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Lukyanov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kasperski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kasperski has his hands clasped together around Lukyanov's back. He's all about the action.
Lukyanov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kasperski does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kasperski is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kasperski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lukyanov manages to get himself to full guard.


Kasperski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kasperski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kasperski is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lukyanov's shoulder. That is not cool.
Kasperski's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kasperski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kasperski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

It looked like Kasperski was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
