Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Chernishev (ranked 1197 p4p, 140 weight class) and Gaia Ky Jr (ranked 887 p4p, 105 weight class). Chernishev comes to the cage accompanied by MC Hovanskiy - Father in the building. Gaia Ky Jr is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ky Jr throws a leg kick but Chernishev sees it coming and moves out of range.
Ky Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chernishev manages to avoid it.
Chernishev drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ky Jr sprawls and moves away.

Ky Jr is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Chernishev can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ky Jr has control of Chernishev's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Chernishev regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's time! Chernishev's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ky Jr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chernishev tries to avoid it but Ky Jr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chernishev to the ground. Chernishev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Chernishev throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ky Jr on the side of the head.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Ky Jr. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

A very excited looking Gaia Ky Jr rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
