Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jermey Arnold (ranked 7765 p4p, 634 weight class) and Sparring Fighter 1 (ranked 4133 p4p, 417 weight class). Fighter 1 comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lou Reed - The day John Kennedy Died kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sparring Fighter 1 struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter 1 tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Arnold makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Arnold feints a jab promting Fighter 1 to slip. Arnold then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fighter 1 slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fighter 1 throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Arnold.
Fighter 1 throws a sloppy head kick and Arnold moves out of range easily.

Arnold swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Arnold was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Arnold displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fighter 1 throws out the jab.
Arnold connects with a leg kick. Fighter 1 looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Fighter 1 is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Arnold counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Arnold counters with a nice uppercut.

The fighters circle, before Arnold throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Fighter 1's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Arnold lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
