Penn throws a hook but Romero avoids it easily.
Penn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Romero.

Penn moves into range and connects with a jab.
Romero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Penn manages to avoid it.
Penn throws an off balance right hand

and Romero counters with a single leg into guard. Penn didn't expect that.
Penn wants to stand but Romero is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Penn keeping full guard, as Romero tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Romero lands a couple of elbows.

Penn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Romero won't allow Penn to get back to his feet.
Penn can't keep his opponent in guard - Romero advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Romero has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Penn defend it? Romero steps over the head and cranks it - Penn is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Romero!
