And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Deshone Porter!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porter misses with a looping left.
Porter lands the left hand.
Santos looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Porter scores with a crisp jab that stopped Santos in his tracks.
Porter misses with the combination.
Santos was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Santos slips under a jab.
Porter lands a jab to Santos's midsection.
Santos tries to clinch up.
Porter throws a hook but Santos blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Porter digs a good body shot into Santos's ribs.
Porter digs a good hook to Santos's body.
A swing and a miss from Porter.

Porter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Santos.
Santos steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Porter.
Santos dodges the punch combination from Porter.
Porter throws a hook but Santos avoids it easily.
Porter connects with a single shot there.
Porter digs a good hook to Santos's body.
Porter's jab looks to have found its range, popping Santos under the eye.
Santos tries to close the distance and clinch but Porter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Good standup being displayed there by Porter as he connects with a hook.
Porter lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Porter.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Porter bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Santos darts in and clinches Porter up against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Porter.
Santos takes a shot to the head.
Porter blocks an uppercut.
Santos tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Santos breaks from the clinch.
Deshone Porter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Porter throws a big shot that misses.
Santos ducks right into an uppercut from Porter.
Santos walks into a left hand.
Porter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Santos.
Santos throws a big counter combination but Porter scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Porter throws a monster overhand right that drops Santos! Porter follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
