The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Hugh Johnson and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ioannou's corner calls for a 1-2. Ioannou obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Dmitrievich leaves Ioannou with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
An attempted straight right counter from Dmitrievich misses the target.
Dmitrievich misses with a looping right.
Dmitrievich is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Dmitrievich. That snapped Ioannou's head back.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ioannou.
Dmitrievich swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Ioannou fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dmitrievich to the ground. Ioannou is now in Dmitrievich's guard.
Ioannou pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dmitrievich is keeping the position for now.
Dmitrievich wants to stand and escape but Ioannou is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ioannou tries to free his leg and advance position but Dmitrievich is retaining full guard.
Dmitrievich keeping moving, preventing Ioannou from controlling successfully.

Ioannou drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dmitrievich manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ioannou has Dmitrievich in his guard.
Ioannou is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dmitrievich stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Ioannou feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ioannou prevents Dmitrievich from getting back to his feet.
Ioannou drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dmitrievich looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dmitrievich looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dmitrievich!
Dmitrievich stands up and beckons Ioannou to his feet.

Dmitrievich throws a jab but it's blocked by Ioannou.
Ioannou tries for a takedown but Dmitrievich sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ivashin Dmitrievich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Costa Ioannou.
Dmitrievich throws a nice inside leg kick.
Ioannou chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dmitrievich can pounce on him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ioannou scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Dmitrievich is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ioannou maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dmitrievich could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ioannou has cracked it and Dmitrievich is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ioannou!
