Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 2505 p4p, 360 weight class) and Gamzat Gamzatov (ranked 3556 p4p, 485 weight class). Durant comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Enter Sandman. Gamzatov has chosen Entrance Song as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamzatov defending well as Durant loads up on a big left hand.

and Durant counters with a nice uppercut.
Durant throws an overhand right that lands on Gamzatov's shoulder, as Gamzatov tries to avoid the shot.
Durant tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gamzatov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Durant tries to bum rush Gamzatov with a series of wild strikes but Gamzatov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gamzatov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Kevin Durant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gamzat Gamzatov.

Gamzatov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Durant as he jumps to the side.

Gamzatov misses with a takedown attempt - Durant sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Durant was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Gamzatov wants to take the fight to the mat but Durant manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Durant really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Durant is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Durant tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Durant tries to throw a body punch but Gamzatov avoids it by throwing Durant back against the cage.
Gamzatov goes for a takedown in the clinch but Durant prevents it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Durant.
Gamzatov's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Durant gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gamzatov.

Durant works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Durant lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Gamzatov backwards.
