And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tori Kankunnen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Monroe catches Kankunnen right on the button with a cross.
Kankunnen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Monroe throws out the jab.
Good standup being displayed there by Monroe as he connects with a hook.

Monroe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kankunnen, pushing him back against the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kankunnen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Monroe scores with a shoulder strike.

Kankunnen is rocked!
Monroe pushes off an throws an elbow but Kankunnen leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Kankunnen is still on wobbly legs! Can Monroe finish him?
Monroe stops a takedown attempt from Kankunnen.
Clinched against the cage, Monroe lands a big elbow that drops Kankunnen! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Kankunnen is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
