Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamison Cassidy (ranked 783 p4p, 127 weight class) and Mister McNasty (ranked 540 p4p, 80 weight class). Cassidy comes into the arena with Space Oddity by David Bowie blaring out of the sound system. Mister McNasty is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mister McNasty!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNasty scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Cassidy just misses with a punch to the body.
McNasty let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Cassidy with a jab.
Jamison Cassidy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McNasty steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cassidy.
Cassidy connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Cassidy misses with a straight right.
McNasty defending well as Cassidy loads up on a big left hand.
Cassidy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McNasty is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Cassidy with a body shot.
Cassidy closes the distance and clinches up with McNasty, looking for a takedown. Cassidy pushes McNasty against the cage but McNasty circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by McNasty.
Cassidy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McNasty. That did some damage!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A shot to the liver by McNasty. Beautiful body shot.
Cassidy misses with a low kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from McNasty! But no joy.

Cassidy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McNasty was well out of range. Poor timing from Cassidy.
Cassidy throws a jab when McNasty was well out of range.
Cassidy darts in looking for a takedown but McNasty gets double underhooks and turns Cassidy into the cage.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from McNasty! But no joy.
Mister McNasty is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McNasty on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Cassidy throws a body shot but no joy.
McNasty checks a low kick from Cassidy.
McNasty has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
A big left from Cassidy misses.
McNasty throws out a counter right but Cassidy avoids it with no problem.
Cassidy loads up on a big right hand but McNasty slips the punch.
Cassidy throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Cassidy goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Cassidy tries to work over McNasty's front leg with a kick but McNasty checks it.

A punch lands to the side of Cassidy 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Jamison Cassidy has been cut.
McNasty misses with a wild body shot.
Cassidy drops down looking for a counter takedown but McNasty sprawls and moves away.
Cassidy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McNasty cracks a nice hook into Cassidy's ribs.
McNasty closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cassidy half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
McNasty bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cassidy's head backwards.
McNasty lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McNasty fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cassidy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McNasty tries to avoid it but Cassidy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McNasty to the ground. McNasty escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from McNasty! But no joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jamison Cassidy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cassidy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McNasty only half commits to the counter leg kick.
A clash of legs there as McNasty blocks the low kick.
Cassidy on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McNasty. McNasty obviously looking to wear him down.
Cassidy jabs McNasty to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Cassidy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

A jab from Cassidy misses.
McNasty avoids the body shot from Cassidy.
A slow jab from Cassidy misses its intended target.
McNasty moves out of range as Cassidy strikes.
Cassidy takes a jab right on the kisser.
Cassidy thuds his shin into the meat of McNasty's side.
Cassidy tries for a takedown but McNasty sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McNasty scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Cassidy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McNasty.
Cassidy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
McNasty connects with a body shot that sends Cassidy's belly button to the back.
Cassidy wants to slow McNasty down by chopping away at his legs.
Cassidy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McNasty connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cassidy misses with a lunging right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Cassidy is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cassidy misses with a right hand
and McNasty makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
McNasty throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cassidy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McNasty sends Cassidy crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! McNasty is motioning to the referee to let Cassidy up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Cassidy is rocked!
Cassidy on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Oh Cassidy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McNasty drops Cassidy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cassidy looks back up at him and smiles so McNasty waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jamison Cassidy's cut is getting worse.
McNasty lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Cassidy falls backwards - clearly groggy! McNasty dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mister McNasty!
Mister McNasty decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
