PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Klas Horn (ranked 1318 p4p, 165 weight class) and Big Guns (ranked 972 p4p, 120 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guns tries to close the distance and clinch but Horn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Guns scores with a nice head shot.

It looks like Klas Horn has been cut.
Horn lands a really nice looking cross but Guns seems unphased.
Horn jabs Guns to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Guns connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Horn momentarily.
Guns connects with a body shot.
Guns uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Horn.
Guns scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Horn throws a hook to the side of Guns's head but Guns sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Horn throws out a leg kick but Guns moves out of range and Horn only half commits.
Guns looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Guns throws a head kick that misses.
Horn throws a low kick but Guns avoids it.
Horn rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A slow jab from Horn misses its intended target.
Guns lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Horn throws a shot from downtown. Guns moves away and avoids it.

and Guns counters with a big uppercut that knocks Horn off his feet! Guns dives into side control looking to finish!

Horn is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Guns has hold of Horn's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Horn tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Guns cranks the arm and Horn screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Horn, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
