Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmon scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tanaka in his tracks.
Timmon throws a right hand that misses
and Tanaka counters with a three punch combo that has Timmon backing up. Timmon nods at Tanaka to acknowledge the strikes.
Timmon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Tanaka moves into the clinch successfully.

Timmon will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tanaka up against the cage.

Tanaka jumps guard and drags Timmon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Tanaka wants to hit a switch here but Timmon passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Tanaka there!

Timmon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tanaka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Timmon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tanaka pushes a forearm under Timmon's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Timmon is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
