Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johan Attila (ranked 3574 p4p, 82 weight class) and Ori Jokinen (ranked 2858 p4p, 74 weight class). Attila comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johan Attila!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ori Jokinen!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Attila missing with a left hand there. Jokinen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jokinen feints the counter takedown.

Attila displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jokinen.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Attila's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Attila lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Attila darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Attila turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Attila lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jokinen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jokinen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Jokinen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Despite the aggression on Jokinen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
