The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn moves out of range as Wallace strikes.
Penn tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Wallace misses the shot to the body.
Penn drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Wallace defends it well.
Ben Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penn lands a big head kick that sends Wallace tumbling to the mat! Penn takes a step backwards and waves Wallace back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Ben Wallace has been cut.
Wallace misses with a right hand
and Penn counters with an outside leg kick.
Wallace misses with an uppercut
and Penn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Penn lands a brutal uppercut that launches Wallace off his feet! Wallace tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
