The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buddha looks to score with a jab to the body but Claremont is just out of range.
Claremont connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Buddha blocks a jab.

Claremont is looking to clinch but Buddha is avoiding it.
Buddha is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
A jab lands there for Claremont.
Buddha looks to land a combination but Claremont avoids it well.
A jab from Claremont finds it's way through Buddha's defenses.
Buddha checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Claremont has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Buddha is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Claremont circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Buddha drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Claremont follows Buddha to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Claremont!
A relieved looking Brian Claremont thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Ghandi Buddha was interviewed post fight and said 'We must do this again. Rubber match. I'll prove who is the best! Leo got the best of me this time. No such luck next time.'.
