Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chrono Lock (ranked 3089 p4p, 321 weight class) and Tumleh Schmitt (ranked 3659 p4p, 364 weight class). Tumleh Schmitt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chrono Lock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Tumleh Schmitt!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lock throws the left hand but Schmitt avoids the punch easily.
Lock fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Schmitt checks it well.
Lock moves out of range of the body kick.

Lock drops Schmitt with a big left hand and mounts him. Schmitt is in big trouble!


It looks like Tumleh Schmitt has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lock looking to control but Schmitt is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Schmitt working to try and regain half guard.
Schmitt bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Schmitt stays in close to Lock's body and controls the position.
Schmitt trying to control but Lock is working from the bottom.
Lock wants to stand and escape but Schmitt is having none of it.

Schmitt advances to half guard.
Lock is trying to stand back up but Schmitt is controlling him
Lock trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Schmitt is looking to take a break and control but Lock is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Schmitt prevents Lock from standing back up.

Schmitt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lock is just riding it out for now. Schmitt eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schmitt throwing shots but Lock is blocking nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lock won't allow Schmitt to pass to mount.

Schmitt is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lock defends it well.
Lock is trying to stand.
Schmitt controlling the action here.
Schmitt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lock keeps working.
Lock is looking to escape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Schmitt throws a solid leg kick but Lock takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Schmitt.

Lock slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lock tries a head kick but it misses.
Schmitt slips a jab from Lock.
Schmitt closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Schmitt misses with an attempted mid kick.
Schmitt thows a body kick. Lock tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Schmitt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lock is being controlled here.
Lock prevents Schmitt from improving position.
Schmitt scoring with punches from side control.
Lock is trying to buck Schmitt off.
Schmitt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lock keeps working.
Lock knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Schmitt on the ground.
Lock wants to get back to his feet.

Schmitt working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Lock is trying to get back to his feet.

Schmitt goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lock has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Schmitt but great work by Lock.
Lock tries to stand but Schmitt is controlling his head.
Schmitt is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Lock has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Chrono Lock will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Tumleh Schmitt's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Lock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Schmitt.
Lock wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lock throws a front kick aimed at Schmitt's knee but Schmitt avoids it well.
Schmitt moves out of range of the strikes.
Lock comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lock misses with a body shot.
Tumleh Schmitt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lock lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Schmitt avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Schmitt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lock misses with a low kick.
Chrono Lock is winning the standup battle so far.
Lock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schmitt circles away quickly and effectively.
And Schmitt responds with a good body kick, but Lock manages to step out the way in time.
Lock avoids the head kick by Schmitt.
Lock appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Lock jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Schmitt moves away.
Lock misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Schmitt.
Lock scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Schmitt looks for a takedown but Lock sprawls well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A slow jab from Lock misses its intended target.
Schmitt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lock swivels and escapes.
Schmitt drops his hands momentarily and Lock takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.


Schmitt is rocked!
Lock scores with a body shot.
Schmitt throws a low kick but Lock moves out of range easily.
Lock misses with an attempted mid kick.
Schmitt swinging wildly here.
Schmitt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lock.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lock, as that shot connected.
Schmitt is still on wobbly legs! Can Lock finish him?
Lock drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Schmitt right on the button. Schmitt goes down! Lock follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Lock gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chrono Lock!
A very excited looking Chrono Lock made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
