The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickal fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wiley to the ground. Nickal is now in Wiley's guard.
Nickal in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Nickal throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Wiley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nickal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nickal accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wiley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nickal is working away from the top position though.
Nickal drops an elbow to the side of Wiley's head.
Nickal wants to take a breather but Wiley is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nickal uses his free foot to push down on Wiley's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wiley.

Nickal has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nickal is landing with some decent strikes but Wiley is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Wiley is bucking up trying to escape but Nickal cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Nickal pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nickal lands a heavy elbow.
Nickal looking to isolate an arm here. Wiley doesn't see it coming and as Nickal extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Nickal!
