Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Frost (ranked 4752 p4p, 599 weight class) and Dimitri Buriak (ranked 7429 p4p, 738 weight class). Dimitri Buriak will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dimitri Buriak!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Buriak.
A decent looking cross lands there for Buriak.
Buriak scores with a hook.
Xavier Frost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buriak bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Buriak lands a slapping body shot.
Frost will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Buriak lands a left and a right that send Frost crashing to the mat, dazed. Buriak thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Frost is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Frost takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Oh Frost is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Buriak blocks a jab.
It seemed like Buriak was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Frost throws a right hand that misses

and Buriak counters with a nice right hand that sends Frost toppling to the canvas! Frost scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Buriak finish him?!
Buriak fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Buriak clinches.
Frost misses with some punches.
A hook to the body from Buriak.
Frost is trying to push Buriak away but Buriak has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Frost seems to have got his legs back now.
Buriak lands a left hand.

Frost manages to break the clinch.
A big right from Frost misses.
Frost swats away the attempt to clinch by Buriak.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Buriak jabs Frost to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Frost is breathing heavily.

Buriak sends Frost crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Buriak is motioning to the referee to let Frost up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Frost misses the jab.
Buriak fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Buriak takes the fight into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Buriak drops Frost onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Frost is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Buriak creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Frost with a big uppercut! Frost tries to clinch up but Buriak pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Frost to the mat! Frost covers up and Buriak unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After the fight, Dimitri Buriak was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
