PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bill Oddie (ranked 519 p4p, 63 weight class) and Iker Ramirez (ranked 701 p4p, 78 weight class). Oddie's entrance music is Wild Thing. A fine choice. Iker Ramirez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Oddie counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Iker Ramirez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That kick from Ramirez tenderised Oddie's leg. Oddie is trying to keep his angry face on.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I was talking to Oddie's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Well Ramirez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
