Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ueda Umanouke (ranked 1 p4p, 1 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 4 p4p, 1 weight class). Umanouke comes to the cage accompanied by Kenji Kawai's Making of a Cyborg. This should be fireworks!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Umanouke moves out of range of the strikes.
Umanouke misses with a straight right.
Umanouke backing away here, and Slice unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Slice misses with a body shot.
Umanouke throws an off balance right hand
and Slice counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Ueda Umanouke has been cut.
Umanouke moves away from the strike by Slice.
Umanouke misses with a shot to the body
and Slice counters with a straight right hand.
Slice misses with a wild body shot.
Umanouke takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Umanouke has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Slice missing with a left hand there. Umanouke was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Umanouke feints and as Slice raises his hands in defense, Umanouke changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Slice manages to escape and get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Umanouke looks up at the clock and then as Slice takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Umanouke smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Umanouke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Slice tries to escape but Umanouke is in control.

Slice parries the strikes from Umanouke easily there. Umanouke is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Slice to escape.

Umanouke is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Slice is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Slice is pushing Umanouke's head away, looking to escape. Umanouke manages to hold on to the position though.
Umanouke cracks Slice with a big right hand but Slice just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Slice sneaks out the side door and pushes Umanouke away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Slice wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Ueda Umanouke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slice bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Umanouke's head backwards.
Umanouke moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

A punch lands to the side of Umanouke 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Umanouke throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Umanouke walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Slice misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Umanouke.
Umanouke drops down looking for a counter takedown but Slice sprawls and moves away.
Slice slips under a jab.
Umanouke lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Umanouke tests Slice's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Umanouke swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Slice only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Umanouke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Slice manages to avoid it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Umanouke looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Umanouke loads up on a big right hand but Slice slips the punch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Umanouke throws the left hand but Slice avoids the punch easily.
Umanouke throws a lazy right hand but Slice sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Slice.
Umanouke is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Slice.
Umanouke connects with a looping right hand.
Slice will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
An inside leg kick from Umanouke misses.
Umanouke scores with a hook to the body. Slice takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A slapping leg kick lands for Slice.

and Slice counters with a stiff right hand.
Slice is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Umanouke had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Slice has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A bone on bone clash there as Umanouke blocks the leg kick.

That was a close round but I would say that Ueda Umanouke will probably get the nod.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Umanouke keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Ueda Umanouke's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Slice cracks Umanouke with a good jab.
Slice lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Umanouke gets a takedown into half guard.
Slice is trying to stand up here but Umanouke is controlling him well.

Slice scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Umanouke manages to mount him!
Slice is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Slice bucks up and throws Umanouke to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Slice misses with an uppercut. Umanouke saw that one coming.
Umanouke moves away from the strike by Slice.
Umanouke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slice's jab looks to have found its range, popping Umanouke under the eye.

Jeez, Ueda Umanouke's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Slice throws a lazy right hand but Umanouke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Slice thows a left - swing and a miss!

Slice has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Umanouke finds it's way round the side to connect with Slice's head.
Slice lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Slice throws an overhand right that lands on Umanouke's shoulder, as Umanouke tries to avoid the shot.
Slice keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ueda Umanouke's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kimbo Slice!
Kimbo Slice tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Ueda Umanouke spoke after the fight, saying 'Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You can't do anything without risking something. I will be back to avenge my honor.'.
