Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Benn Jr (ranked 2883 p4p, 383 weight class) and Todd Packer (ranked 2879 p4p, 382 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Nigel Benn Jr has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nigel Benn Jr seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Benn Jr has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Benn Jr and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
We've been told by Benn Jr's head coaches at Cozad MMA LA Elite that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Benn Jr crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Packer - the referee stops the clock and Benn Jr gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Packer. Benn Jr manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
