The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khaan wants to slow Smith down by chopping away at his legs.
Nice straight punches there by Smith. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Smith.
Good exchange - Smith coming out on top.

It looks like Darius Khaan has been cut.
Smith throws a right hand that Khaan ducks under and follows up with a left that Khaan also avoids with ease.
Good standup being displayed there by Smith as he connects with a hook.
Smith connects with a looping right hand.
Khaan throws a body shot but no joy.
Smith misses with a lunging right hand
and Khaan counters with a nice low kick that buckles Smith's knee momentarily.
Khaan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Smith throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Smith throws a hook but Khaan avoids it easily.
Khaan fires out a quick counter leg kick but Smith just manages to avoid it.
Khaan slips under a jab from Smith.
Smith connects with a looping right hand.

Khaan is rocked!

Smith sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Khaan's defenses. It connects perfectly with Khaan's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
