The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twelve tries for a takedown but Perkins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Twelve tries to clinch up but Perkins circles away and keeps his distance.
Perkins misses with a hook. Twelve ducked under it nicely.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Perkins has eaten all the pies!
Twelve shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Perkins but Perkins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Perkins looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Perkins leaves Twelve with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Perkins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Twelve shoots in looking for a takedown. Perkins tries to sprawl out of it but Twelve keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Perkins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Perkins moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Twelve slips a straight right by Perkins.
Twelve misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Perkins throws a shot from downtown. Twelve moves away and avoids it.
Twelve tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Perkins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Perkins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Twelve .
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Twelve counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Twelve looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Perkins is fending him off so far but Twelve persists. Nope, Perkins circles away and we're back to standing.

Perkins bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Twelve 's head.
Perkins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Twelve displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Perkins throws out the jab.
Twelve seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Perkins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Twelve manages to avoid it.
Twelve bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Twelve throws a right hand that Perkins ducks under and follows up with a left that Perkins also avoids with ease.
A combination from Twelve does no damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Twelve avoids the body shot from Perkins.
Twelve uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Perkins.
Twelve thows a leg kick but Perkins checks it
and Perkins makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Twelve might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

and Twelve counters with a nice right hand that sends Perkins toppling to the canvas! Perkins scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Twelve finish him?!

and Twelve counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Perkins falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
