The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pilpil looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Maxwell looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Maxwell could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Maxwell controls Pilpil momentarily but Pilpil frees himself.

Pilpil decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Pilpil moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Pilpil closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Maxwell quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pilpil in particular looking to stall.
Maxwell flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Pilpil is looking to take a break and control but Maxwell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Maxwell tries to roll over but Pilpil keeps him under control.
Maxwell is looking to control Pilpil's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Maxwell avoid being mounted?

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Pilpil has knocked Maxwell down with a huge combo! Pilpil steps away and waves a wobbly Maxwell back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Kenneth Maxwell has been cut.
Pilpil throws a nice looking combination but Maxwell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pilpil fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Maxwell is rocked!
Maxwell is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Pilpil Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Maxwell is out cold, face down on the mat!
