These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins throws the left hand but Mills avoids the punch easily.
Mills connects with an inside leg kick.
Mills swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Perkins .
Mills throws the kick towards the body but Perkins avoids it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mills.
Mills throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Mills jabs Perkins to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mills lands with an uppercut that bounces Perkins off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Kai Perkins has been cut.

Mills's corner calls for a 1-2. Mills obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mills feints and then cracks Perkins 's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Perkins down.
Mills throws a head kick that Perkins semi-blocks.
Mills lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mills.

Perkins is rocked!
Mills thuds his shin into the meat of Perkins 's side.
BOOM! Mills lands a beautiful left hook that drops Perkins . Perkins tries to recover but Mills is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Perkins lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
