Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miro Bang (ranked 190 p4p, 31 weight class) and Kevin Garbutt (ranked 334 p4p, 50 weight class). Garbutt has chosen Saxon - Strong Arm of the Law as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Garbutt!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Garbutt.
Garbutt misses the shot to the body.
Bang keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Garbutt.
Bang tries to sprawl but Garbutt drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Garbutt is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Garbutt working over Bang with some ground and pound. Bang looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
It looks like Miro Bang has been cut.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Garbutt connects with a nice short shot to Bang's temple.
Bang is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Garbutt pulls his head out easily.
Bang looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Bang moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bang thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Bang looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Garbutt throws a big elbow that misses.

Garbutt scoring with punches to the head and body.
Garbutt sitting in guard here, content to control.
Garbutt's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Garbutt is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Bang seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Bang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Garbutt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Garbutt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bang looking for a guillotine here but Garbutt defends easily.
Garbutt wants to control from the top but Bang keeps moving.
Bang has an active guard here but Garbutt has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bang has hold of Garbutt's hands but Garbutt slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Bang looking for submissions off his back.
Garbutt seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Bang is rocked!
Garbutt is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Bang is hurt! He's hurt bad - Garbutt fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Bang from any more punishment! Congratulations to Garbutt! Great finish!
