Nicu's entrance music is It's Dark and Hell Is Hot. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicu connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Alexander Koreshkov has been cut.

Koreshkov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nicu on his heels. He'll look to pass Nicu's guard now, I'm sure.

Nicu manages to escape and get back to his feet.

and Nicu counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Nicu uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Koreshkov has time to react.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nicu thuds his shin into the meat of Koreshkov's side.

Nicu connects with a right hand. Koreshkov shakes it off.
Nicu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nicu scores with a jab to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Nicu.

Nicu lands a big head kick that sends Koreshkov tumbling to the mat! Nicu takes a step backwards and waves Koreshkov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Both fighters circling a little - Nicu finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Nicu pounces like a tiger and cracks Koreshkov with a vicious hook! Koreshkov is down but not out! Nicu follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
