The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steel falls off balance throwing a combination

and Suckerpunch counters by moving into the clinch.
Steel goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Suckerpunch throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Suckerpunch blocks a body shot from Steel.

Steel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No joy there for Suckerpunch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Suckerpunch has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Steel misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Suckerpunch counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Steel throws a lazy uppercut
and Suckerpunch counters with a nice uppercut.

Suckerpunch clinches up with Steel and pushes him back against the cage.
Steel lands with a left to the head.
Suckerpunch cracks Steel with a nice body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Suckerpunch pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Suckerpunch gets through Steel's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
