Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phat Ho (ranked 335 p4p, 43 weight class) and Fujiwara Tsuyoshi (ranked 545 p4p, 59 weight class). Ho comes to the cage accompanied by Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water. Phat Ho is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phat Ho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fujiwara Tsuyoshi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ho connects with the punch.
Tsuyoshi tries to clinch up
and Ho counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ho throws an overhand right that lands on Tsuyoshi's shoulder, as Tsuyoshi tries to avoid the shot.
Tsuyoshi misses with a few strikes there.
Ho throws a head kick that misses.
Tsuyoshi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tsuyoshi moves away from the strike by Ho.
Tsuyoshi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ho moves away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tsuyoshi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ho moves out of range of the strikes.
Tsuyoshi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tsuyoshi there as he acknowledges the shot.

Fujiwara Tsuyoshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ho throws a push kick but Tsuyoshi slaps the foot to one side.

Ho has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Ho steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tsuyoshi.
Tsuyoshi takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Tsuyoshi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ho dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ho misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tsuyoshi.
Tsuyoshi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ho.

Tsuyoshi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ho can pounce on him.
Ho throws a hook to the side of Tsuyoshi's head but Tsuyoshi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ho swats away the attempt to clinch by Tsuyoshi.
Tsuyoshi lands a lovely overhand right.
Ho attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Ho doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tsuyoshi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tsuyoshi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ho.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Phat Ho will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Phat Ho.
I think Ho has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Fujiwara Tsuyoshi spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Phat Ho spoke after the fight, saying 'maybe i should switch to vapes?'.
