Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dominique Bell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crack Head!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head misses with a double jab.

Bell looking to score a takedown here. Head is defending well but Bell drives through and ends up in Head's guard.

Bell is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Head is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bell goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Head has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bell but great work by Head.

Bell is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Head pulls his head out easily.
Head scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Bell moves into full guard.

Bell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Head gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Head landing with the ground and pound.

Bell is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bell wants to sweep here but Head controlling him for the moment.

Head stands up from Bell's guard - Head perhaps looking for a knockout.
Head stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Head wants it to stay on the feet.
Head throws out a counter right but Bell avoids it with no problem.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Head enables Bell to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Head manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Bell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Head looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Bell lands a couple of digs.
Bell works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Bell wants to take a breather but Head is having none of it.

Bell seems to be working for a kimura but Head defends the submission attempt.

Bell is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Head sees it coming and defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bell tries to pass to full mount but Head defends it.
Head is in trouble now - Bell has advanced to mount!
Head avoids a strike by Bell and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Bell's guard! Fantastic escape!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bell fails with a takedown attempt.
Head tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Head tries to avoid it but Bell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Head to the ground. Head escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Bell is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Head has managed to free his arm - good work.

Dominique Bell overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bell is looking for the choke from the back position but Head is controlling his hands well.
Head is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Bell off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Bell is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Head has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Head wants to escape the position.

Head is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Bell is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Head can do to turn this around?
Bell is not going to allow Head to sit and survive in this position.
