Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Diyorbek Nurudinov (ranked 2475 p4p, 102 weight class) and Soul Makossa (ranked 7189 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Makossa's choice of entrance music: SOUL MAKOSSA 2.0. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Soul Makossa!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.

Makossa has closed the distance and engaged Nurudinov in a clinch.
Makossa is trying to pull guard but Nurudinov turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Makossa is looking to take this one to the mat.

Nurudinov tries to free his leg and advance position but Makossa is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nurudinov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Makossa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nurudinov has Makossa in his guard.

Nurudinov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Makossa trying to control the position from guard on top but Nurudinov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Makossa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Nurudinov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Makossa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nurudinov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Makossa has managed to get both his arms back between Nurudinov's legs - danger averted.
Makossa pushes down on Nurudinov's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Nurudinov wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nurudinov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nurudinov tries to get out of the position.

Makossa is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Nurudinov wants to sweep but Makossa has passed to side control!

Makossa is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nurudinov is trying to escape and Makossa transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nurudinov is forced to tap! Nice work there by Makossa! Very nice indeed!
