The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cleary ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cleary changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Nobonaga has managed to clinch.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Cleary gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Nobonaga regains guard.

Cleary seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Cleary seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nobonaga does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
