Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Vegas (ranked 5910 p4p, 527 weight class) and Ouje Bougoumou (ranked 3973 p4p, 398 weight class). Vegas comes to the cage accompanied by Ace Of Spades by Motorhead. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas misses with a few strikes there.

We've been hearing reports that Vegas has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Vegas's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Vegas duly obliges.
Sloppy strikes from Vegas. Those never looked like landing.
Vegas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bougoumou moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Johnny Vegas will probably get the nod.

Vegas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bougoumou has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vegas has managed to get both his arms back between Bougoumou's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Vegas is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Bougoumou still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Bougoumou has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bougoumou swings around for an armbar but Vegas sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bougoumou's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Johnny Vegas will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johnny Vegas.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vegas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
