PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Silent Bob (ranked 2691 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waylon Mercy (ranked 2688 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bob blocks a jab.
Mercy clobbers Bob with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bob misses with an uppercut
and Mercy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mercy is looking to slow Bob down with leg kicks.
Mercy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bob circles away quickly and effectively.
Mercy cracks Bob with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mercy tests Bob's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mercy throws a lazy right hand but Bob sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mercy scores with a decent looking hook.
Mercy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Bob is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bob tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mercy ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bob is looking to chop away at Mercy's legs.
Mercy steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Good shot there by Mercy.
Mercy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bob.
Bob throws a leg kick that is checked
and Mercy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bob thinking.
Mercy lands with an overhand left.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mercy throws the left hand but Bob avoids the punch easily.
Bob slips a jab from Mercy.
Mercy cracks Bob with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Mercy lands a nice shot to the body.
Mercy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mercy has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Bob gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Bob is rocked!
A jab lands there for Mercy.
Oh Bob is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mercy drops Bob with a naaaaasty hook - Bob is in real trouble here! Mercy dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
