Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Asa Sharp (ranked 1857 p4p, 212 weight class) and Tony Duff (ranked 3564 p4p, 355 weight class). Tony Duff has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Asa Sharp's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp connects with a body shot that sends Duff's belly button to the back.
Duff changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sharp looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Sharp manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Duff keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Duff goes for a takedown attempt but Sharp pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sharp throws a right and a left that both miss.

Duff had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sharp defends it easily.
Sharp is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at mickeyharts the greatest that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
