PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Optimus Prime (ranked 9081 p4p, 595 weight class) and Shinsuke Nakamura (ranked 5842 p4p, 449 weight class). Prime comes to the cage accompanied by Rich Boy - Boy Looka Here . Nakamura has chosen Shadow Of A Setting Sun as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Optimus Prime has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Optimus Prime seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime throws a lazy right hand but Nakamura sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nakamura shoots in looking for a takedown. Prime tries to sprawl out of it but Nakamura keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Prime manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Prime misses with a double jab.

Nakamura shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Prime napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Nakamura tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Prime tries to buck Nakamura off but Nakamura is having none of it.

Nakamura decides to stand up, so the ref orders Prime to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Nakamura tries for a takedown but Prime sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Prime closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Prime lands in his opponent's guard.
Prime postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Prime accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Nakamura moves in looking to clinch but Prime pushes him off.
Nakamura shoots in but Prime avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nakamura changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Prime tries to avoid it but Nakamura manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Prime to the ground. Prime escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice defenses there by Nakamura.
Nakamura was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

A relieved looking Optimus Prime thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Shinsuke Nakamura stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm So Sorry Fans For Lost, I Don't Know I Could Quit MMA And Head Back To WWE Or NJPW Or Train Harder Win My Next Fight For You Fans'.
