Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Treloar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Phil Spice!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spice connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Spice throws a combination that misses

and Treloar counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Treloar decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Spice throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Treloar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Treloar tries to clinch but Spice moves out of range.
Spice lands with a hook. Treloar tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Spice wants to clinch.

Treloar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Treloar won't allow Spice to sweep him here.
Spice keeps trying to improve his position.
Treloar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Treloar controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Treloar is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Treloar sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Spice wants to sweep but no luck.
Treloar content to stall in guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Treloar passes into half guard.
Treloar landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Well, if Treloar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Treloar scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Treloar has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Spice defend it? Treloar steps over the head and cranks it - Spice is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Treloar!
