Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chicken Destroyer (ranked 3858 p4p, 380 weight class) and Murphy Brown (ranked 3319 p4p, 340 weight class). Chicken Destroyer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chicken Destroyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Murphy Brown!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Destroyer shoots in and bounces Brown off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Brown utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Destroyer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Destroyer advances to half guard.
Destroyer throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Destroyer passes to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown can't do much from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown is looking for a sweep.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brown can do anything to dispel that myth.
Destroyer looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Destroyer working the ground and pound from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Destroyer has hold of Brown's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Brown seems comfortable defending it but Destroyer has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Brown is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Brown is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Destroyer couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Chicken Destroyer!
In defeat, Murphy Brown stepped up to the mic, saying 'Maybe I should try something else... like checkers or somthing .'.
