Childress is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eighth of sticky gooey-by MAC MAL. Angel Childress has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sung closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Childress wants to get back to full guard.

Sung wants to lay and pray for a moment but Childress keeps working.
Childress is trying to maintain the position but Sung is very close to passing his half guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Sung's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Sung has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Childress is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sung.
A big shot lands for Childress! That's hurt Sung! Will he recover? Childress fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
